Home Networking Test Services

The Home Networking Consortium (HNC) provides certification test services to companies seeking to obtain the Broadband Forum's BBF.069 Certification, the IPv6 Ready CE Router Logo, DLNA Certification, or RVU Alliance Certification for home devices. This service will enable the end users, service providers and equipment manufactures to have a higher level of confidence and experience in the connected home.

Test services include:

  • BBF.069 Certification Program
    • TR-069 – CPE WAN Management Protocol
  • IPv6 Ready CE Router Logo
    • Basic requirements for IPv6 Customer Edge Routers as per RFC 7084
  • DLNA Certification Program
    • DLNA Certification testing and pretesting
    • DLNA Protected Streaming
    • VidiPath Client testing
  • RVU Alliance Certification Program
    • RVU Certification testing and pretesting

HNC helps members track new efforts in working groups such as IETF Homenet and Broadband Forum BroadbandHome to aid development and testing in future Home Networking protocols.

Like all UNH-IOL consortia, the Home Networking Consortium is a collaborative test program that brings together industry leaders to foster quality, interoperable systems.
