A Game-Changer for many Industries

Time Sensitive Network (TSN) standards enable deterministic real-time communication over Ethernet, allowing solutions to be built to provide extremely precise, predictable timing and control across the network. By adding features to Ethernet such as time synchronization, ingress policing, seamless redundancy, frame preemption, scheduled traffic, and stream reservation, TSN ensures mission-critical, time sensitive data is not delayed by the network, promoting an interoperable ecosystem spanning across many industries. As TSN standards mature, our members are able to support rapid development of conformance and interoperability solutions for emerging standards, validating their silicon and early products by gaining access to test solutions as well as multi-vendor test beds.

We work closely with the Avnu Alliance, the TSN Industry’s certification body, to promote awareness and adoption of TSN, and develop industry standard testing practices leading to Avnu Certification.  Work developed is available to certification bodies, such as the the Avnu Alliance, to be leveraged by their certification programs.  

Overview of TSN groups:

Avnu Certification Testing Services:  We are a recognized test facility for the Avnu Alliance, providing TSN Certification services for Pro AV, Base, and soon Automotive networks based on Avnu Specifications.

Automotive Networking Testing Services:  Accelerating development of test capabilities based on emerging IEEE 802.1 standards, to help meet and exceed the needs of current and future Avnu Alliance and OPEN Alliance testing.

Industrial Networking Testing Services: Accelerating development of test capabilities based on emerging IEEE 802.1 and IETF standards, to help meet and exceed the needs of current and future Avnu Alliance, IIC, ODVA and IIoT testing.

Pro AV Networking Testing Services: Accelerating development of test capabilities based on emerging IEEE 802.1 and IETF standards, to help meet and exceed the needs of current and future Avnu Alliance, Wireless timing, and related testing.

IEEE 1588/PTP Testing Services: Accelerating development of test capabilities based on emerging IEEE 1588, IEC, and ITU standards, to help meet and exceed the needs of current and future testing.
