COSTA MESA, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Emulex Corporation (NYSE:ELX) today announced it is participating in the Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA) plugfest with its recently introduced LightPulse 16Gb Fibre Channel (16GFC) Host Bus Adapters (HBAs). The FCIA Fibre Channel Over Ethernet and 16GFC Plugfest will be held October 24-28 at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL) and represents the first time 16GFC will be tested concurrently with Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE).
