The UNH-IOL successfully held it’s first annual Career Advisory Board Session on Tuesday, March 17th. The overall goal of the Career Advisory Board is to empower UNH-IOL employees to obtain invaluable information that will aid them upon graduation and give them an edge in competition for the job market, while providing an opportunity for companies to recruit top talent. Local companies including Cisco Systems, Corsair Solutions, Liberty Mutual, and the UNH Advising and Career Center sent representatives to serve on the board.
The topics discussed at the session included Resume Skills, Behavioral Interviewing Skills, Hot Job Trends for the Technology Industry, and the Transitional Period between College and Industry. This was the kickoff of many more Advisory Sessions to ensure the UNH-IOL continues to groom highly qualified and well rounded business men and women into the real world. Attendees and panel leaders were thrilled with the attendance and participation from the employees.
