As defined by the IEEE 802.3 Working Group, Auto-Negotiation is the process that Ethernet Devices use to identify and resolve the highest possible link between two devices. In simplified terms, Auto-Negotiation aids a user in finding the highest and most efficient operating speed for their system. The UNH-IOL acts as the 3rd Party Test Lab for the Ethernet Alliance PoE Certification Program. This Program works to identify PoE Powered Devices (PDs) and Power Sourcing Equipment (PSEs) that are based on IEEE 802.3 PoE specifications and have passed the Ethernet Alliance PoE Test Plan. We have been a leader and expert in NVMe^® Testing Services for several years providing conformance and interoperability testing. In addition, storage vendors from around the world test against NVMe standards to qualify them for the NVMe Integrator's List. The NVMe Integrator's List currently consists of configurations that have proven to be interoperable and conformant to NVMe standards. Starting in November 2022 buyers will no longer be able to accept SDoCs for the previous revision of the profile. The UNH-IOL's accredited testing can test your products for USGv6-r1 and IPv6 Ready Logo.

vIOLett® is a family of software packages used to test a product’s conformance to common protocols used in Time Sensitive Networking (TSN). There are vIOLett packages to test 1588, including Telecom and Power Profile, gPTP, MRP, MSRP, MVRP, and CBS. In addition, vIOLett is used to test products for the Avnu Certification Program, including Bridges, Pro AV or Milan Endstations, and Automotive devices.
