Carrier Ethernet Test Suites

The test suites on this page may be downloaded and used for internal purposes only. The test suites may not be commercialized in any way without express permission of the UNH-IOL.

The Carrier Ethernet testing service currently offers the following test plans. These documents are constantly being updated to improve readability and to reflect the current specifications. Please contact us if you would like more information or have questions about the Carrier Ethernet testing service.

When testing based on the following test suites is performed, all reports generated will be digitally signed using an Adobe digital certificate. Upon reception of the report, the recipient can verify its authenticity using our document validation instructions.

Abstract
The UNH-IOL offers testing as per the implementation agreement for any Operator interested in connecting their Carrier Ethernet network to another Operator using an Ethernet ENNI. The UNH-IOL performs MEF 54 interoperability against Operators available in the UNH-IOL Carrier Ethernet test bed.

This is for MEF Phase 1 testing as specified on the MEF wiki page : https://wiki.mef.net/display/OWG/Rapid+Prototyping+Workgroup As of 9/1/16 this test suite is in development which requires working with Operators to perform rapid prototyping for new test cases proposed by the MEF EIP group.
