IMS Plugfest 8

Overview

The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architecture is a revolutionary new approach to deploying advanced features, applications, and services over mobile and fixed-line networks. A crucial aspect to this new architecture is vendor interoperability, allowing operators to select equipment, applications, and services best suited to their customer base. To this end, the IMS Forum and UNH-IOL have teamed up to host a series of IMS Plugfests, aimed at testing the interoperability of the interfaces defined by the various IMS specifications, with a specific interest in testing the interfaces between the IMS Core Network and the Application Servers.

Who Should Attend

• Companies who are developing IMS solutions
• Test equipment vendors who are developing IMS testing solutions
• Operators looking to deploy applications amd services through the IMS architecture

• This event is an open test event. Membership in the IMS Forum or UNH-IOL is not required for participation.

• If you are interested in attending the plugfest, but not ready to register at this time, please contact Manuel Vexler (IMS Forum).

• All Plugfest attendees must complete the registration form, regardless of length of stay. A completed registration form, submitted prior to the event, will be the only means for access to the facility.

• All event participating companies will be required to submit non-disclosure materials as part of the participation agreement.
• The IMS Forum plugfest agreement can be downloaded here.
• All event attendees (individual persons) will be required to sign the following acknowledgment of the NDA upon arriving on site.

• Plugfest participation fees are based upon membership status in the IMS Forum and UNH-IOL VoIP Consortium, as detailed below.

• All fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the event.

• For sponsorship opportunities, please contact Manuel Vexler of the IMS Forum.

• Base participation fees (listed below) cover attendance of 3 persons to the event. For additional personnel, a fee of $500 USD per each extra person will be charged to cover the additional food and resources of the addition person.
