The OpenFabrics Alliance

The OpenFabrics Alliance

Presents the Eighth

OFA Interoperability Test Event

Thursday, October 15th through Friday, October 23rd, 2009

at the

University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL)
Durham, New Hampshire

Building cooperation within the InfiniBand™ and iWARP community,
the OpenFabrics Alliance brings you this interoperability session, focusing on
industry-wide interoperability using the OpenFabrics Alliance Software Stack.

An Exceptional Environment

  • Testing Cluster - The testing cluster at the UNH-IOL has 24 servers running CentOS 5.3. Other operating systems can be installed by request.

Note: We expect that four HCA/RNIC vendors will participate (Mellanox, QLogic, Chelsio, Intel). Dividing the 24 available servers by four participants means that for this event each HCA/RNIC vendor will be allocated six servers, of which four will have Generation-1 PCI Express slots and two will have Generation-2 PCI Express slots.

  • OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFED) - Version 1.5

Within the test plan there are three groups of test cases:

  • InfiniBand-Specific
  • iWARP-Specific
  • Transport-Independent
