Building cooperation within the InfiniBand™ and iWARP community, OpenFabrics Alliance brings you this interoperability session, focusing on industry-wide interoperability using the OpenFabrics Alliance Stack.
Important Schedule Note!
- March 13th & 14th - IB Link and Fabric Init Testing - IB Vendors, please ensure your products are available for these dates so the IB Link and Fabric Initialization tests defined by the OFA Test Plan can be performed. Vendors may elect to provide the equipment in advance of their arrival the following week.
- March 17-21 - OFA Interoperability Event #5 - Execution of the remainder of the OFA Test Plan will be conducted this week, including all Mandatory tests and any appropriate Beta tests for participating devices.
An Exceptional Environment!
- Testing Cluster - The testing cluster at the UNH IOL has over 15 servers currently running RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.0. Other operating systems can be installed by request.
- OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFED) - OFED Version 1.3
Within this test plan, there are 3 groups of test cases:
- InfiniBand Specific Test Cases
- iWARP Specific Test Cases
- Transport Independent Test Cases
Event Information and Registration Process
Eligibility
This Interop Event is open to current members of the OFA only. To become a member of the OFA contact OFA Administration (membership@openfabrics.org) or visit their web site (http://www.openfabrics.org/join.htm). OFA annual membership is currently $3,000.
Interoperability Event Cost
There are two options for participation in this interop event. The Fee Schedule for each option is outlined in the OpenFabrics Alliance Working Group Charter. See paragraph 4.2, page 6.
- Membership in the OFA-UNH-IOL Tested Logo Group (OFILG) - Annual Dues of $10,000. This group affords the benefits of:
- OFA members who do not wish to become OFILG members may pay a one-time fee of $5,000 for participation in this event but are not entitled to the benefits listed above. This fee can be applied within 60-days retroactively to OFILG membership if the participant desires.
The event is non-hosted. Participants are responsible to pay for their own:
- Travel
- Accommodation
- Meals – A cafeteria is available on-site. Dining is available in the local area.

Travel Details
Airport: Two airports provide convenient service to the Durham, NH area.
For ease of travel, Manchester Airport is recommended.
Shuttle Service can be arranged to and from the airport if a rental car is not desired.
