About the iSCSI Consortium

The iSCSI Consortium was originally established in 2001. It is funded by member companies who share a common goal of fostering interoperability within iSCSI products and increasing the market feasibility of iSCSI technology. We offer a wide range of exhaustive test suites designed to test both conformance to standards and cross-vendor interoperability of your iSCSI and iSER related products, including both initiators and targets as defined in RFC 3720, RFC 5046, and RFC 5048..

Key Benefits of Membership Include:

  • The iSCSI Consortium can be thought of an extension of an in-house testlab and can help decrease the time to market for iSCSI devices by identifying potential interoperability issues early in the development process.

  • Membership to the iSCSI Consortium allows access to our extensive testsuites as well as our interoperability test bed.

  • The iSCSI Consortium also offers remote testing so we can test your device without it ever having to leave your facility.

  • Testing is done using cutting edge testing equipment and our own testing tools.

  • Members will receive an industry recognized test report for all testing done.

  • Raise visibility as an industry leader in iSCSI related products.

  • All of the services offered through the UNH-IOL iSCSI Consortium are available for a single, cost-effective annual membership fee.

The UNH-IOL has also implemented both an iSCSI Initiator and Target giving us a unique perspective as an organization that not only develops and performs standards based testing on iSCSI products, but also gains insight into your perspective as an implementer of the standard.
