About the GPON Consortium

The UNH-IOL has been involved in testing GPON since 2009. We offer a wide range of test suites designed to test both conformance to standards and cross-vendor interoperability of your GPON and GPON related products, including:

• OLTs
• ONTs
• Optical Splitters

Like all UNH-IOL consortia, the GPON Consortium is a collaborative test program that brings together industry leaders in GPON and GPON related technologies to foster quality, interoperable systems.

Membership with the UNH-IOL GPON Consortium allows you to:

• Demonstrate and analyze the interoperability of your product with a wide range of link partners

• Test for interoperability of the OMCI configuration of the ONT necessary to conform with Broadband Forum recommendation TR-156.

• Attend group test events hosted by the Consortium

• Extend your in-house development and QA laboratory with access to our test bed, custom test procedures that can be tailored to specific issues or environments
