Absolute Analysis Analyzer/Generator
Absolute Analysis Through a collaborative agreement with Absolute Analysis, the UNH-IOL offers access to the Absolute Analysis Investigator Analyzer/Generator for FC protocol analysis and generation with speeds up to 4G. This platform provides analysis and diagnostic capabilities for Fibre Channel devices, including BERT capabilities and the ability to transmit user-defined Fibre Channel traffic. The Absolute Analysis Investigator Analyzer can provide comprehensive FC traces that can be viewed with their free trace viewer.

Finisar Xgig Analyzer
Xgig Analyzer Through a collaborative agreement with Finisar Corporation, the UNH-IOL offers access to Finisar's Xgig Analyzer for FC protocol analysis with speeds up to 4G. This platform provides analysis and diagnostic capabilities for Fibre Channel devices, including Jammer and BERT capabilities. The Xgig Analyzer can provide comprehensive FC traces that can be viewed with their free trace viewer.

Finisar IFC-5 Generator
IFC-5 Generator Through a collaborative agreement with Finisar Corporation, the UNH-IOL offers access to Finisar's IFC-5 Protocol Generator for FC protocol generation with speeds up to 4G. This platform provides the ability to send custom valid and invalid primitives, frames, and words. The Finisar IFC-5 allows for custom testing at the protocol layer as well as physical layer.

Physical Layer Optical Test Tools

Agilent DCA-J 86100C Oscilloscope
Agilent Oscilloscope Through a collaborative agreement with Agilent Technologies, the UNH-IOL offers access to the 86105C and 83496A modules in a DCA-J 86100C Oscilloscope Mainframe allowing optical physical layer testing up to 8G. The 83496A module provides the ability to recover FC signals at rates up to 8G. The 86105C module provides the ability to sample FC signals at rates up to 8G. The Agilent Oscilloscope provides the ability for the FC consortium to offer FC-PI-2 and FC-PI-4 Optical Physical Layer Fibre Channel testing.

Physical Layer Electrical Test Tools

Agilent 8720ES/N4418A VNA
Agilent VNA Through a collaborative agreement with Agilent Technologies, the UNH-IOL offers access to the 8720ES with the N4418A 4-port S-Parameter Network Analyzer with speeds up to 8G. This platform provides the ability to test Return Loss for physical layer electrical Fibre Channel conformance.

LeCroy SDA 11000 Oscilloscope
LeCroy Oscilloscope Through a collaborative agreement with LeCroy Corporation, the UNH-IOL offers access to the SDA11000 real-time Oscilloscope with speeds up to 4G. This platform provides the ability to capture real-time FC traffic for physical layer electrical Fibre Channel conformance as well as protocol analysis.

Test Fixtures
Test Fixtures The UNH-IOL Fibre Channel Consortium is pleased to have acquired test fixtures that allow standard Fibre Channel devices to be tested electrically with the appropriate test fixture. The current test fixtures include FC to SMA, SFP to SMA and HSSDC2 to SMA. The UNH-IOL is also pleased to have acquired a Intra Cabinet TCTF Compliance Interconnect allowing full compliance for physical layer electrical testing.

Interoperability Test Tools

SANBlaze 2-Port Target Emulator
SANBlaze 2-Port Target Emulator Through a collaborative agreement with SANBlaze Technology, the UNH-IOL offers access to the VirtualLUN Target Emulator with speeds up to 4G. This platform provides the ability to emulate up to 125 targets per port or up to 512 LUNS per target depending on configuration. The SANBlaze VirtualLUN gives confidence on how a device will interact when many devices are connected. The platform can also inject error conditions and analyze the FC traffic for various conditions.
