About the DSL Consortium

The UNH-IOL has been involved in the DSL industry since 1997. We offer a wide range of exhaustive test suites designed to test both conformance to standards and cross-vendor interoperability of your DSL and DSL related products, including:

• DSLAMs
• Home gateways and integrated access devices
• DSL system chipsets
• DSL hand-held testers and test tools

Like all UNH-IOL consortia, the DSL Consortium is a collaborative test program that brings together industry leaders in DSL and DSL related technologies to foster quality, interoperable DSL systems.

Membership with the UNH-IOL DSL Consortium allows you to:

• Demonstrate and analyze the interoperability of your product with a wide range of link partners

• Verify the conformance and throughput of your PPPoA, PPPoE, and RFC 2684 bridged ethernet implementations

• Check for DSL handshake (G.hs) initialization errors

• Validate the compliance of your product to ADSL, ADSL2/2+, and VDSL2 electrical characteristics specifications

• Attend group test events hosted through the DSL Consortium

• Extend your in-house development and QA laboratory with access to our test bed, custom test tools, custom test procedures that can be tailored to specific issues or environments
