Overview

The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory's (UNH-IOL) DSL Consortium will be hosting the Second DSL Forum TR-069 Interoperability Plugfest the week of February 6, 2006. The Plugfest will be held at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory's facility located at 121 Technology Drive, Suite 2, in Durham, NH 03824. Basic information about the Plugfest, including setup, configuration, testing, and costs, is given below.

This DSL Forum Plugfest is an opportunity for system integrators to test the interoperability of their implementations of DSL Forum TR-069. This event will allow multiple system integrators, both ACS and CPE, to conveniently test their implementations in a single location with a common focus, as determined by the test plan.

Participants will have to make hotel and transportation arrangements. Breakfast and afternoon snacks, and a catered lunch will be available.

Registration Information

Companies who are at least BASIC members in good standing of the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory's DSL Consortium may attend this Plugfest for free. Non-members may attend this one-week Plugfest for a fee of $3,000.00 USD per company. This fee may be applied towards future DSL Consortium membership for a period of two months following the final day of the Plugfest. Each participating company will be allowed to have two people on site during this Plugfest. The cost for additional people is $500.00 USD per person per company. All fees are payable at the time of registration, onsite via check made payable to "The University of New Hampshire" and paid in U.S. funds, or via major credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). Fees may now also now be paid online via MasterCard or Visa during the registration process.

All Plugfest attendees must complete the Plugfest registration form, regardless of length of stay. A completed registration form, submitted prior to the event, will be the only means for access to the Plugfest facility. The registration form must be submitted prior to the Plugfest. Failure to register before Monday, January 23rd, 2006 will result in a $100.00 USD late fee per company. Please use the the on-line registration form to register all attendees and devices.

Formal Test Plan

The test plan for this event is DSL Forum Proposed Draft PD-128v4.1. All participants agree to report the results of their testing (based on PD-128v4.1) to Jason Walls at jwalls@iol.unh.edu. All results will be anonymously submitted as a contribution to the DSL Forum. For a copy of PD-128v4.1, please visit the DSL Forum's webpage.


Non Disclosure Information

A DSL Forum Non-Disclosure Agreement must be signed by all participating companies, and must be on file prior to participation in the Plugfest. The current DSL Forum Plugfest NDA covers all DSL Forum Plugfests held from January 1, 2006 to January 9, 2007. Companies that have already signed the DSL Forum Plugfest NDA (their NDA's are already on file with the the DSL Forum) need not sign it again until January 9, 2007, at which time a new Plugfest NDA will be issued. A list of companies that have already signed the most recent version of the DSL Forum Plugfest NDA is included below.

In addition, each participant physically present at the Plugfest must individually sign an acknowledgment of NDA, regardless of length of stay.

Logistics and Results Information

The Logistics Document contains detailed information about the Plugfest, including participant information, a detailed test schedule, and participant test capabilities. The results grids spreadsheet will be the format in which individual participant's overall results are reported. Also available for download are Authentication Certificates and related information.


Equipment Shipping Information

All equipment must be shipped to the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory to arrive no later than Friday, February 3rd, 2006. There is NO Saturday or Sunday delivery service available. Please note that our elevator is 42 inches wide (door), 42 inches deep (floor space) and 6.5 feet high. Please ensure that your packages/crates are smaller than these dimensions. Otherwise, we will be required to de-crate your shipment in order to move it into the facility.

Companies shipping equipment to the UNH-IOL are required to cover all shipping and customs/duties costs. Failure to do so will require the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory to bill the member company for any outstanding shipping and customs/duties charges plus a one hundred dollar ($100.00 USD) handling fee.

Please be aware that, due to the fact we do not have a direct loading dock, there may be additional freight charges for which you will also be responsible.

  • No collect shipments will be accepted, and all shipping fees, including U.S. Customs charges, are the responsibility of the shipper. UNH-IOL will NOT pay for U.S. Customs charges, and prepayment of Customs charges is required.
  • Please remember that international shipments must be cleared through U.S. Customs, which could take up to a week of additional time in shipping.
  • Equipment presently housed at the UNH-IOL facility will be available for use during the GTP event, provided that it is registered prior to the event.
