About DLNA

The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) and its vision is to create a "wired and wireless interoperable network of Personal Computers (PC), Consumer Electronics (CE) and mobile devices in the home enabling a seamless environment for sharing and growing new digital media and content services."

The DLNA Certification Program is a key factor in the DLNA vision of creating a high-quality, user-friendly, media networking environment. DLNA Certification testing verifies that devices properly implement the DLNA protocol operations defined in the DLNA Guidelines, and examines media rendering capabilities within the DLNA's client-server model.
