About the Digital Home Networking Consortium (DHN)
The UNH-IOL was the first approved DLNA Independent Certification Vendor (ICV), established in 2004 and remains the only DLNA ICV in North America. The UNH-IOL also operates as the exclusive RVU Alliance ICV. The Digital Home Networking Consortium provides certification test services to companies seeking to obtain DLNA Certification or RVU Alliance Certification.
Benefits of a DHN Consortium Membership
Cost Effectiveness: A DHN membership allows members to cut the costs of in-house testing by allowing you to schedule unlimited* test slots in a one year period for any combination of pre-certification, certification or member defined testing. In addition, our extensive pre-certification testing allows members are able to identify issues early on.
Unrestricted Testing: The DHN consortium offers testing beyond the scope of the DLNA and RVU Alliance. Through us members have unlimited access to the DLNA and RVU Alliance test bed. When issues arise, members receive complete issue resolution consultation and detailed UNH-IOL custom reports when testing is completed. If time is critical, the DHN consortium also offers overtime testing.
Our Expertise: Since 2004, the UNH-IOL has been an active member of the DLNA and since 2011 a RVU Alliance contributor. Currently the UNH-IOL is the exclusive RVU Alliance ICV and DLNA Protected Streaming ICV. All this provides members additional insight into the DLNA and RVU Alliance as well as strong partner in achieving certification.
