IEEE 1588 Consortium
The UNH-IOL IEEE 1588 Consortium, founded in May of 2010, tests conformance to the IEEE 1588-2008 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) standard and interoperability among PTP-capable devices. Click the “Equipment List” icon above to see the devices in our test bed. We are currently in the process of developing our own test suites and testing services, with partial testing already available. View our test suite overview or click the “Test Suites” link above for details. We are also developing custom test automation software based on those test suites. Active consortium members are licensed to use this software at their facilities. For premier conformance and interoperability testing of your PTP devices, join the UNH-IOL IEEE 1588 Consortium. Gain the opportunity to participate in a diverse group of systems, organizations, and people. We will work with your engineers to find issues before they are found by your customers. We will provide trusted, third-party test reports with technical details that will save your engineers time and demonstrate to your customers your commitment to product excellence. For further details read our engineering brochure (PDF, 2 pages). ISPCSThe UNH-IOL was proud to cohost the 2010 IEEE ISPCS Plugfest and Conference. IOL researchers published monographs in the proceedings of both the 2010 and 2011 ISPCS conferences.
