UNH-IOL Testing Program Partners
With the intention of creating confidence among customers and
facilitating interoperability across multi-vendor networks, several industry
forums have created certification programs. Testing plays a large part
in these certification programs, and the use of independent third party
test houses, such as the UNH-IOL, is key to their success. The
UNH-IOL does not certify devices, rather we supply unbiased information
these certification programs need to accurately certify devices.
The UNH-IOL is currently working in conjunction with the
following industry groups to offer certification and pre-certification
testing.
Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)
|
We are currently the only authorized DLNA Independent Certification Vendor
(ICV) in North America. Once a device is registered with the DLNA, our
testing service can run through the complete DLNA Test Plan and upload the
results to the DLNA in as little as 2 days. In addition, the UNH-IOL offers
pre-certification testing - more rigorous testing whose reports provide
detailed engineering feedback to prepare your device for certification.
For more information, please visit our DLNA Certification Testing page.

IPv6 Ready
|
One of the many benefits our IPv6 Consortium offers its member
companies is IPv6 Forum IPv6 Ready Phase-1, Phase-2 and IPSec
Logo testing. Our knowledgeable staff and the fact that we are the only
organization to offer both the IPv6 Ready conformance and
interoperability testing in house have helped many companies quickly
and economically acquire IPv6 Ready Logos.

OpenFabrics Alliance
|
The OpenFabrics Alliance has chosen the UNH-IOL to be the testing service provider for its interoperability certification program. The UNH-IOL hosts semiannual test events during which OFA vendors gather and resolve interoperability issues and contribute to the development of the OFED software stack. Interoperable products appear on the published logo list and earn the right to use the OpenFabrics interoperability logo.
For more information, please visit our OpenFabrics Alliance page.

Serial ATA
|
UNH-IOL operates the only 6Gbps 1.4 Logo Program approved test lab in North America,
allowing us to test and submit products for the SATA-IO Integrators List.
The UNH-IOL has also hosted several SATA-IO Test Events to vet the test processes before they are used for certification purposes at SATA-IO Interop Workshops. We are currently testing HDD, ODD, SSD, Hosts, and Building Block products at 1.5, 3, and 6 G.

Server System Infrastructure(SSI)
|
The SSI Forum has approved the UNH-IOL as the first Compliance and Interoperability test lab to provide certification for SSI devices. Currently the UNH-IOL tests switches and blades per the SSI Test Specification, available on the SSI Forum website.

Wi-Fi Alliance
|
Our Wireless LAN Testing Service is currently offering Wi-Fi
Pre-Certification testing. Pre-Certification
testing allows companies seeking to have products certified by the
WFA to participate and do the same testing as would be conducted
during the actual certification process, but with more engineering
feedback, and less cost.
